Turn three still uses Atlas Lite
You corrected the site. The thread did not. We log the turns. We do not sell a forced refresh.
Google AI Mode Optimization
Google AI Mode is a conversational surface. It is not the Overview module on a classic results page. We enter Mode. We follow the thread. We capture sources the thread shows. We recheck after you change the site. We do not sell an Overview. We do not treat this as ChatGPT.
Position
A buyer opens Google AI Mode. They ask a first question. They follow up. The thread may keep Atlas Lite after you shipped Atlas Work. It may cite a source from turn one and ignore the correction you published. This page owns that thread. It does not own AI Overviews on a classic SERP. It does not own ChatGPT. It does not reprint classic SEO.
Overviews and similar boxes on a classic results page live on that child. A Mode thread is this child. Do not file both as one screenshot.
Open Google AI Search OptimizationThe hub maps assistants. This page is Google’s Mode UI only. Do not reprint the hub.
Open LLM SEOChatGPT visibility owns that product family. Mode follow-ups are not a ChatGPT browse log.
Open ChatGPT visibilityBlue links, crawl, and index stay on SEO. A URL that ranks can still be ignored in a Mode thread. A URL that does not rank can still appear as a thread source.
Open SEO servicesWe start in Mode. Then we capture turns. Then we capture sources the thread exposed. Then we recheck after a site correction. LLM SEO stays the parent. AI SEO is the broader program if you need both UIs and classic search under one retainer. This file is not that program.
We will not promise Google AI Overviews (AIO) placement. We will not treat Mode as a blue-link ranking product. We will not mix an Overview screenshot into the thread log. If the question is the module on the results page, use Google AI Search Optimization. This room is the conversation.
A Mode thread has memory inside the session. That is why follow-ups matter more than the first card. If you only capture turn one, you will miss the stale SKU that appears after the buyer pushes. Classic SEO reports will not show that drift. ChatGPT logs will not show that drift. The object is the thread you can replay with the same first prompt and the same second prompt.
When this fits
This page fits when people keep asking Google inside AI Mode, and the thread is stale, mixed, or silent on you. If you needed Overview modules, ChatGPT, or a ranking program, start there.
You corrected the site. The thread did not. We log the turns. We do not sell a forced refresh.
The first answer was close. The second turn drifted. We capture the drift. Keyword targeting will not reset the thread.
We label the account condition. We do not average them into an AI Mode rank.
We will refuse that mix. Thread, source, recheck is the artifact. Position tracking stays on classic SEO.
Process
AI Mode work in this order. We do not start an Overview module crawl in the last step. The point is a dated thread record, not a blue-link chart.
We open Google AI Mode on a labeled account and locale. Search intent is the first prompt in that UI, not a results-page query list. We do not run ChatGPT here. We do not treat this as classic SEO.
Outcome A Mode entry note: account, locale, first prompt.
We capture first answer, follow-up, correction attempt. Topical relevance can drift across turns. We write the drift down. A single screenshot of turn one is not a thread.
Outcome A thread capture with turn numbers.
We record sources the Mode UI showed, if any. Semantic keywords in those passages are observation. A missing source is a finding. We do not convert this into a citation SLA.
Outcome A source list tied to turn numbers.
After you change the live page, we rerun the same first prompt and the same follow-up. LLM visibility as a sold score stays off this page. Coverage of the thread script is the watch.
Outcome A recheck of the same thread script, dated.
Deliverables
You leave with a Mode entry note, a thread capture, a source-by-turn list, and a recheck. You do not leave with an Overview slot, a ChatGPT log, or a ranking report.
Account, locale, and first prompt. Dated. A random Mode screenshot from social is not this note.
Turns in order. Stale SKU names marked. Drift marked.
What the UI showed on which turn.
Old SKU versus new SKU across follow-ups. A slogan is named if it collides with the product line.
The same first prompt and follow-up after a site change. If the next job is Overview modules, that note is a handoff.
Benefits
Turn three stops being a story from sales. The thread is dated.
You know if Mode kept Atlas Lite after the site changed.
Results-page modules cannot hide inside Mode rows.
Someone reruns the same turns. Nobody pretends blue links were the Mode job.
Methodology
This works when product can confirm current names and someone can sit in AI Mode. If both are missing, we are collecting chats.
We start with Mode entry, the current product name, and the first prompt. If any of those is missing, we name it first.
We run the thread. We do not trust a marketing GIF with no follow-up. Does turn three still match the live site?
You may rename the roles below. You may not leave the follow-up implied. An implied second turn is how two teams argue about two different conversations.
First working session
The first hour is one Mode thread that drifts. It is not a tour of classic SEO dashboards.
We enter Mode. We ask the first prompt. We ask the follow-up sales already hears. If the stale SKU is the job, we stay. If the real question is an Overview module, that is Google AI Search Optimization. If the real question is ChatGPT, leave. If the real question is rankings, that is SEO. If you need AI SEO as a retained program, that is another door.
Then we label account and locale. We capture sources by turn. The extra drift is usually the job. A rank tracker export is not evidence of Mode.
We leave with a first thread log or a stop. A log names the turns and the stale name. A stop names what is missing: Mode access, a product owner, or a surface that is actually the results-page module. Both are outcomes. A ChatGPT workshop is not.
AI search
Correct live pages can help later turns. This page cannot sell AI Overviews, a ChatGPT mention, or LLM visibility as a score.
People ask whether following AI Mode will place them in Google AI Overviews (AIO). It will not. Mode is the conversation UI. If the thread still invents a SKU after a site correction, that measurement stays here. A diagnosis across UIs is an AI search audit. A program across search UIs is AI SEO.
Results-page modules are another URL. ChatGPT is another URL. We do not sell Overview presence.
We check stale versus current product language. That is a thread test. It is not a full entity program.
AI search visibility samples many surfaces. This page samples Google AI Mode. Mixing them hides the follow-up.
Schema
Product JSON-LD can help extractors. This engagement follows Mode turns. It is not a schema campaign as the whole job.
If schema still lists Atlas Lite, the thread may keep it. We log the thread. We name the markup mismatch as a handoff.
We refuse stuffing FAQ only to feed Mode. A real follow-up can be tested here.
Markup will not force Mode to drop a stale product on a date you pick. Eligibility is not a purchased refresh.
Who we work with
Someone has to run the thread and confirm the current product. We work with that person. We do not replace them with a second Mode retainer.
Confirms current and retired names. Holds the line when ads still use Atlas Lite.
Runs the labeled account. Rechecks after the site change.
Keeps rankings on SEO services. If they try to run this as Overview observation or ChatGPT, two jobs collide.
Questions
Google AI Search Optimization watches AI Overviews on a classic results page. This page follows AI Mode as a conversational thread: turns, follow-ups, and which sources the thread shows. A module screenshot is not a thread log. A thread log is not an Overview slot.
No. ChatGPT visibility owns ChatGPT, SearchGPT, and browsing ChatGPT. AI Mode is Google’s Mode UI. Prompts, memory, and browse behavior are not interchangeable. We will not paste a ChatGPT log into this artifact.
No. Classic SEO still owns fetch, index, and blue links. AI Mode may cite a URL that already ranks, or one that does not. We follow the thread. We do not reprint technical SEO from this file.
No. We can log whether the thread still uses a stale product after you corrected the site. We cannot force Mode to update on a date you pick. We do not sell Google AI Overviews (AIO) placement from this URL either.
Sometimes, if your Mode experience is logged-in only. We label logged-out versus logged-in. We will not treat one account’s thread as the whole market.
The Mode conversation
Bring the current SKU, the retired name if it still leaks, and the Mode prompts buyers already try. We will say if thread work fits, or whether Overview observation, ChatGPT, or SEO should go first.
Enter, turns, links, after-fix. Not an Overview module.
