Search terms are full of queries you will never sell
Keyword targeting was never held. We sample terms. We rank waste. We do not turn the sample into a management week.
PPC Audit
A PPC audit is one look at paid accounts that already spend. We rank waste, write findings, and stop. We do not start the weekly cadence from this URL. We do not turn the PDF into the Google Ads operating account. We do not run an SEO audit as this H1. You receive the findings. You keep the account.
Position
An audit is not a week. It is a dated snapshot of Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, or both when they already spend. Search intent on landing and ad copy is evidence in the findings: does the claim match the first screen? Keyword targeting is one job in the snapshot: which queries you are buying that you will never sell. We rank that waste. We write what to fix first. Then we stop.
Editors, pacing, change log, and weekly reporting live on PPC management. This snapshot stops. Do not buy a second PDF and call it cadence.
Open PPC managementQuality Score and conversion-action hygiene as a program live there. They can appear here as findings. The dated snapshot stays here.
Open Google AdsMessage match tests live on landing-page CRO. We can flag a mismatch. We will not run the protocol inside the audit.
Open landing-page CROCrawl, index, and on-site findings live on SEO audit. Paid search terms and Merchant disapprovals stay here. Do not merge the doors.
Open SEO auditPPC management is the cadence after you accept findings. Google Ads holds Quality Score and conversion actions as ongoing objects. Landing-page CRO holds experiments. The PPC hub holds the family chooser for programs from zero. An SEO audit is organic. This URL is one paid diagnostic that ends.
We will not invent a recovered-spend SKU. We will not withhold the PDF until you sign a retainer. We will not reprint PMax asset-group counts as this H1. Microsoft UET gaps can appear as a row. They still hand to Microsoft Ads after the stop. Shopping and PMax can appear as findings. Their treatises stay on those children. If tracking is fiction, that finding comes before any bid advice. You keep the account. You may keep your agency.
When this fits
This page fits when accounts already spend and you need one dated snapshot. If you needed weekly ops, a from-zero hub map, or a CRO protocol, start there instead.
Keyword targeting was never held. We sample terms. We rank waste. We do not turn the sample into a management week.
Page views are primary. Thank-you URLs are unowned. That finding is first. Bid changes wait.
That is an access finding. Management can own the cadence later. The snapshot names it and stops.
We will show examples from the account. We will not sell a fake recovery SKU. A return promise is refused.
Process
Four diagnostic jobs in this order. We do not start a management retainer in the last step. The point is a dated list you can keep, then an end.
We confirm account IDs, date range, and manager or read access. Search intent on landing and ad copy is sampled from live ads in that range. Keyword targeting is the query sample you are currently buying. Screenshots without access are a stop, not an audit.
Outcome An access note: accounts, dates, and who granted the link.
We rank waste we can show: queries you will never sell, placements that cannot convert, Shopping mismatches, PMax brand leak, duplicate keywords. Topical relevance of ad to landing is part of the rank. Keyword density is not a metric we invent. We do not print a recovered-dollar SKU.
Outcome A ranked waste sample from the dated range, with examples.
We write findings in order: tracking fiction first, then structure, then copy, then bids. Semantic keywords you bought that you do not sell are listed as waste, not as a content plan. Entity names in ads belong in schema and AI notes only as mismatches. Shopping, PMax, Microsoft, and Search can appear as rows. Their full treatises stay on those URLs.
Outcome A findings list with priority and the page that owns the fix.
We deliver the snapshot and end the engagement as an audit. Management, Google Ads, CRO, or the hub may be next. They are not included because the PDF exists. You keep the file. We do not withhold it.
Outcome A dated PDF (or equivalent) plus an explicit stop.
Deliverables
You leave with an access note, a ranked waste sample, a findings list, and a stop. You do not leave with a management week, a CRO protocol, or a recovered-spend SKU.
Accounts, date range, who granted access. The snapshot is dated. An undated PDF is not this artifact.
Queries, placements, or feed rows we can show. Examples from the account. Not a fake recovery total as a product.
Priority order with the URL that owns the fix. Tracking fiction is first when it exists.
The audit ends. Next doors are named. A retainer is not implied.
Organic SEO, CRO protocol, and hub coverage from zero point at their pages.
Benefits
Not a generic checklist. Queries you will never sell are sampled.
You stop paying for optimization on a thank-you nobody defined.
No hostage PDF. Your agency can stay. The snapshot is yours.
Management is a different URL if you want it. The audit does not slide into a week.
Methodology
This works when someone can grant paid-account access and leadership will accept a snapshot that ends. If both are missing, we are collecting slides. We are not auditing.
We start with account IDs, the date range, and the conversion you think you buy. If any of those is missing, we name it first.
We read live ads, terms, and landings in that range. We do not trust a pitch deck. Does search intent on the first screen match the ad? Are you buying queries you will never sell?
You may rename the roles below. You may not leave the stop implied. An implied retainer is how an audit becomes unpaid management.
First working session
The first hour is access plus one waste sample from the live account. It is not a CRO workshop.
We confirm access and date range. We pull a search-term sample. If it is full of queries you will never sell, that is the job. If the real question is weekly editors, that is PPC management. If the real question is Quality Score as a program, that is Google Ads. If the real question is experiments, that is landing-page CRO. If the real question is organic, that is SEO audit.
Then we check conversion actions and a handful of landings. Tracking fiction and mismatched claims are usually the job. A tidy dashboard with dirty terms is not evidence of a healthy account.
We leave with a first waste sample or a stop. A sample names the queries, the tracking gap, and the date range. A stop names what is missing: access, spend that does not exist, or a job that is actually management. Both are outcomes. A retainer pitch is not.
AI search
A cleaner paid account can help later extraction. This page cannot sell AI Overviews, a chat mention, or LLM visibility as a score.
An audit will not land the brand in Google AI Overviews (AIO). If ads buy queries you will never sell, generative search has a messy offer to lift. That is ours to name as waste. If the live pages already tell the truth and models still invent a product, that is an AI search audit. A program across search UIs is AI SEO.
AI search needs a page it can fetch. A finding that the landing disagrees is evidence. We do not sell Overview presence.
We check names in ads versus landings. That is entity optimization as an audit input. It is not a Knowledge Graph project from this page.
LLM visibility needs a sentence a model can quote, then measurement on LLM SEO. A waste sample can show queries you should not buy. It does not sample answers.
Schema
JSON-LD helps a machine read an offer the landing already states. This snapshot can flag a mismatch with ads. It is not a schema campaign as the whole PDF.
If schema says one offer and the RSA says another, we log it. We do not stuff types inside an audit.
Keyword targeting is the query sample. FAQ blocks that exist only to host terms are named as stuffing, not as a module to buy.
Markup will not force generative search to cite the landing. Eligibility is not a purchased mention.
Who we work with
Someone has to receive the PDF without a retainer attached. We work with that person. We do not replace their agency as the price of the snapshot.
Adds the link for the date range. Removes it after if they want.
Reads the ranked waste. Chooses management, Google Ads, CRO, or nothing next.
Can keep going. If they try to treat this as a week of ops, two jobs collide. Ops belongs on PPC management.
Questions
Management is the weekly cadence after structure exists: editors, pacing, change log, reporting. This page is one dated snapshot of paid accounts, waste ranked, then stop. We do not turn the PDF into a silent retainer. You keep the account. You may keep your agency.
No. Google Ads as an ongoing account (Quality Score inputs, conversion actions, campaign-type map) lives on the Google Ads page. This snapshot can name Google waste as a finding. It does not become the operating program.
No. Crawl, index, and on-site findings live on SEO audit. Paid search terms, placements, and Merchant mismatches stay here. Do not merge the doors.
No. Message match and experiments live on landing-page CRO. An audit can flag a landing that disagrees with the ad as a finding. The test protocol is not this PDF.
No. New programs start on the hub coverage map. This page assumes spend and history already exist. We will not write a from-zero family chooser as the H1.
Tracking findings come before bid theatre. Optimization on fiction is refused. Google conversion actions and UET can appear as findings. Depth still lives on those account pages after you stop.
No. A cleaner paid account can help later extraction. This work does not buy a place in Google AI Overviews (AIO), a generative-search mention, or an LLM visibility score. If models invent an offer you do not sell, that measurement sits on an AI search audit and on LLM SEO.
A search-terms export (or manager access so we can pull one), the account IDs, and the conversion you think you are buying. A homepage walkthrough is not an audit brief.
One paid snapshot, then stop
Attach a search-terms export (or grant access so we can pull one), plus the account IDs and the conversion you think you are buying. We will say if a dated snapshot fits, or whether management, Google Ads conversion actions, or landing-page CRO should go first.
Date range, waste rank, findings, close. Not a management week.
