Link Building

Link Building to Earn Editorial Links You Can Defend

A link is an object on a URL you already sell from. Someone else has to choose to cite it. We decide which money URLs may receive that cite. We keep a refusal list for placements we will not take. We log what went live, where, and why it belongs. We do not sell a monthly count. We do not run a newsroom from this page.

Next step

Review our link targets

Tell us the site and the bottleneck. We reply with next steps, not a generic deck.

  • Ready
  • Prospect
  • Place
  • Log

Digital PR owns coverage and mentions. Guest post services own one contributed article on a named site. Blogger outreach owns the CRM. Off-page SEO is the umbrella for signals that are not this object. This page does not reprint those jobs. It starts from the URL that should receive the link, and from the placements you will refuse.

We will not buy a PBN. We will not fill a monthly volume package. We will not treat a nofollow mention as a failed href. We will not hide the referring URL from you. If the honest next step is a pitch to a journalist, open Digital PR. If the honest next step is a full draft they will publish under your byline, open guest post services. Stay here when the job is a cite you can defend.

When this fits

When the money URL has no honest cites you can name

This page fits when you can name the URLs that should earn editorial links, and you cannot defend last quarter's placements. If you needed a newsroom, a guest article factory, or a CRM, start there instead.

The money URL is live and the cites are gossip

Sales uses the page. Partners cannot name who linked to it. We start with that URL as the object. We do not start with a marketplace cart.

Last placements have no referring URL in the log

Someone paid for links. Nobody stored the live href. We rebuild the log from what still exists. Missing rows become refusals, not a new quota.

Vendors sold volume and the pages are unrelated

The citing article is about a different industry, a different country, or a different product. Relevance is the test. A high domain score on an irrelevant page still goes on the refusal list.

You want a PBN or a ten-link month

We will say no. Eligibility for this page is editorial choice plus a money URL. A private blog network is not a prospect. A count with no editor is not a cadence.

Process

Ready, then prospect, then place, then log

Four jobs in that order. Each one ends with a note you can keep next to the money URL. We do not open a Digital PR pitch in the last step. The point is an editorial link you can show, not a count finance cannot explain.

  1. Ready

We name the money URLs that may receive a cite this period. The page must already do a job: sell, explain, or prove. Keyword targeting is one job per URL, not a stuffing pass on the title so a vendor can match a term. If the URL will redirect next week, it is not ready. If the offer is a PDF behind a form, we name that before we ask anyone to link.

Outcome A dated list of ready money URLs, including which are not ready.

  2. Prospect

We list sites where an editor already covers the topic. Topical relevance is the test: would a reader of that page use our URL? Keyword density on the prospect article is not a score we buy. We refuse marketplaces, PBNs, and sites that only exist to sell hrefs. A journalist beat with no existing page is a Digital PR handoff, not a prospect row here.

Outcome A prospect list with an editor or page owner, plus a refusal list.

  3. Place

We ask for a specific cite: this URL, this reason, this paragraph if they already have one. We do not ghostwrite a full guest article as the product. If they want a contributed piece, that ticket moves. If they want a resource line, a footnote, or a roundup slot, we stay. Payment for a fake review is a refusal. A free cite with an honest label is a placement.

Outcome A yes, a no, or a move to guest post or Digital PR, written down.

  4. Log

We store the live referring URL, the target, the date, the contact, and why it belongs. We store the refusals too. A screenshot without the href is not a log row. Recheck after they edit the article. A removed cite is a log update, not a secret.

Outcome A placement log you can defend in a client meeting.

Deliverables

What you can keep after a placement week

You leave with a ready URL list, a refusal list, a prospect set, and a placement log. You do not leave with a PBN, a guest-article factory, or a monthly quota.

Ready money URL list

Which pages may receive a cite this period, and which must wait. Dated. Last year's sitemap is not this list.

Refusal list

Networks, marketplaces, irrelevant verticals, and publishers legal will not accept. A row with no reason is not a refusal.

Prospect set

Sites with a page and a person. Notes on what they already published. Empty domain scores are not prospects.

Placement log

Live href, target, date, contact, label if any, and why it belongs. Removed cites stay in the log as removed.

Handoff note

Which tickets moved to Digital PR, guest post services, or blogger outreach, and why. A silent move is how two teams pitch the same desk.

Benefits

What a volume vendor will not leave you

The money URL is the object

Cites point at pages you sell from. Random blog posts stop absorbing the budget.

Refusals are written

Sales cannot reopen a PBN because a score looked high. The list is the list until you change it.

Prospects have a person

Someone can say yes or no. A scraped email is not a prospect.

The log can be shown

A client or a board can open the href. Nobody has to trust a count in a slide.

Methodology

Who can refuse a placement

This works when someone owns the money URL and someone can say no to a vendor. If both are missing, we are shopping domains. We are not earning editorial links.

We start with the URLs that must work this period, the referring links you already have, and the person who can refuse. If any of those is missing, we name it first.

We fetch the live money page. We do not trust a deck. Does this document still match what you sell? Would a citing editor send a reader there without embarrassment?

You may rename the roles below. You may not leave refusals implied. An implied yes is how a marketplace invoice becomes next month's program.

  1. Link building lead SEOConsultants.ai writes the ready list, the refusal list, the prospect set, and the log. We do not become your PR agency because a cite was missing.
  2. Whoever owns the money URL Keeps the page live and accurate. A target that 404s after placement is a finding.
  3. Legal or brand Names publishers you will not appear on. A late veto after a yes wastes the editor.
  4. Whoever already runs outreach Can keep the CRM. If they try to run this as a coverage campaign, two jobs collide. Coverage stays on Digital PR.
  5. Leadership Funds a log and a refusal list, or refuses another volume package this period. An empty honest log is not a failure of this page. A purchased network would be.

First working session

Start with one money URL and one placement you cannot explain

The first hour is a live URL you sell from, plus one href from last quarter that nobody can defend. It is not a tour of link marketplaces.

We open the money URL. We list who should cite it and who already did. If the existing hrefs are irrelevant, that is the job. If the real question is a journalist story, that is Digital PR. If the real question is a full contributed article, that is guest post services. If the real question is the inbox, that is blogger outreach. If the mix is every off-page vendor at once, that is the off-page umbrella.

Then we fetch the referring pages that still resolve. We compare them to the money URL. The mismatch is usually the job. A DA table with no live href is not evidence.

We leave with a first ready list or a stop. A list names the URL, the first refusal, and who may approve the next prospect. A stop names what is missing: a live money page, a person who can refuse, or a program that is actually a newsroom. Both are outcomes. A shopping cart of links is not.

AI search

An editorial cite is not an AI Overview

A real page with a real cite can help later extraction. This page cannot sell AI Overviews, a chat mention, or LLM visibility as a score.

People ask whether more hrefs will land the money URL in Google AI Overviews (AIO). If the citing pages are junk, generative search has junk neighbors to lift. That is ours to refuse. If the money URL already tells the truth and models still skip it, that is an AI search audit. A program across search UIs is AI SEO.

The money URL has to print in the first HTML

AI search needs a page it can fetch. A cite to a login wall does not help. We do not sell Overview presence.

Names on the cited page should match the thing you sell

We check brand and offer names in the published HTML of the target. That is entity optimization as a link-target input. It is not a Knowledge Graph project from this page.

Measuring model answers is another URL

LLM visibility needs a sentence a model can quote, then measurement on LLM SEO. A placement log can show a live href. It does not sample answers. Semantic keywords belong in the money URL body if they are still the offer, not as a reason to buy more cites.

Schema

Markup on the money URL is not the link.

JSON-LD helps a machine read an offer the page already states. This work does not inject fake Review or AggregateRating blocks to justify a cite. It is not a schema campaign as the whole job.

Do not mint fake reviews to attract links

If someone wants schema stars before they will cite you, that is a refusal. Valid types still need facts that match the HTML.

The cited URL should be the canonical you keep

A parameter copy as the target trains the wrong object. We name the canonical before we ask for the href.

Extra fields do not buy a cite

Markup will not force generative search to mention the page. Eligibility is not a purchased href.

Who we work with

The person who can say no to a vendor invoice

Someone has to refuse a bad placement. We work with that person. We do not replace them with a second link retainer that sells volume.

Money URL owner

Keeps the target live. Holds the ready list when a campaign wants to point cites at a landing page that will die Friday.

Legal or brand

Owns the refusal list. Names publishers and networks that are off limits.

Whoever already runs PR or outreach

Can keep going once tickets are split. If they try to run this as a guest-article factory, two jobs collide. The factory belongs on guest post services only when the product is one named draft.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

How is this different from Digital PR coverage?

Digital PR owns a newsworthy asset and a journalist beat. The object there is a mention. A link is a byproduct if the desk runs the story. This page owns a relevant editorial link as an object on a money URL. We keep a refusal list and a placement log. A press mention with no href is not this job. A bought href with no editor is not that one.

Is this the same as a guest contributed article?

No. Guest post services place one named article on one named site: brief, draft, and that placement. This page does not write a contributed piece as the product. If an editor wants a full article from us, that ticket leaves here. If they want a cite or a resource link on a page they already publish, that can stay.

Do you run the blogger outreach CRM?

No. Blogger outreach owns the list, the sequence, and the inbox. We may use a name from that list after a person has already said yes. We will not run your CRM, your follow-up cadence, or a mass pitch from this page.

Will you sell a monthly link quota?

No. A quota is a count with no object. We will not promise ten hrefs a month, a PBN, or a volume package. Ready, prospect, place, log is the work. If the next honest placement is none, we log none. That is a result, not a failure of a quota.

Will editorial links get us into AI Overviews?

No. A real cite on a money URL can help later extraction. This work does not buy a place in Google AI Overviews (AIO), a generative-search mention, or an LLM visibility score. If the page already states the offer and models still skip it, that measurement sits on an AI search audit and on LLM SEO.

Links you can defend

Are you buying links nobody can explain?

Send the money URLs, the sites you already accept, and any placements from the last quarter you cannot explain. We will say if editorial link work fits, or whether Digital PR, a guest article, or outreach CRM should go first. Then we name the first target and the first refusal.

  1. Money URLs named as link objects
  2. A refusal list you can keep
  3. Prospects with an editor, not a marketplace
  4. A placement log, not a quota

Ready, prospect, place, log. Not a monthly quota.
