Google Ads

Google Ads to Map Quality Score Inputs and Conversion Actions in One Account

One Google Ads account holds Quality Score inputs, the conversion actions Google can train on, and a map of which campaign types are allowed to sit there. We work that account. We do not reprint Search-format ops. We do not write PMax asset groups as this H1. We do not twin Microsoft Advertising.

Next step

Review this Google Ads account

Tell us the site and the bottleneck. We reply with next steps, not a generic deck.

  • Confirm the customer ID
  • Sample score inputs
  • Name conversion actions
  • Draw the type map

Position

Google Ads is one account. Quality Score and conversion actions live in it.

Google Ads is not a synonym for paid search. It is a Google account with Quality Score inputs Google computes (expected CTR, ad relevance, landing experience as Google scores them), conversion actions that Google can optimize against, and a set of campaign types that share that account. Search intent still has to show in the RSA and on the landing. Keyword targeting is one job: the queries you will buy inside this Google account, not a Microsoft keyword list pasted over.

Search-format ops (match, RSA pinning, search-term mining) live on Search ads. Performance Max asset groups live on Performance Max. Shopping feed fields live on Shopping ads. Microsoft Advertising, UET, and import-then-adapt live on Microsoft Ads. Use this URL when the object is this Google account: score inputs, conversion actions, and campaign-type map.

We will not sell Quality Score as a ranking date. We will not treat a Google tag as UET. We will not import this account into Microsoft and call the Google pass done. If conversion actions fire on a thank-you nobody defined, that is this job. If the question is Bing query mix, open Microsoft Ads. If the question is asset groups, open Performance Max.

When this fits

When Google is still optimizing to a conversion nobody named

This page fits when the Google Ads account itself is the object: Quality Score inputs, conversion actions, campaign-type map. If you needed Search-format ops, PMax asset groups, or a Microsoft program, start there instead.

Primary conversions include page views and a thank-you nobody owns

Google is training on noise. We name which Google conversion actions stay primary. Enhanced and offline import setup in Google stays here. A CRM stage as the sales object still lives on B2B PPC.

Quality Score is treated as a mystery grade

Expected CTR, ad relevance, and landing experience as Google scores them are the inputs. Landing experiments stay on landing-page CRO. We will not promise a score by a date.

Search, PMax, and Shopping share one budget with no map

The account can hold several types. Someone has to say which types may sit here this period. PMax treatise stays on Performance Max. Feed treatise stays on Shopping ads.

Someone wants to clone this Google account into Microsoft as the strategy

Import is a Microsoft job. Quality Score will not come with it. We refuse a twin from this URL.

Process

Confirm the customer ID. Sample score inputs. Name conversion actions. Draw the type map.

Four Google jobs in this order. We do not start a Microsoft import in the last step. The point is one Google account whose conversion actions and Quality Score inputs are named.

  1. Confirm the customer ID

We confirm the Google Ads customer ID, manager access, and which MCC it sits under. Search intent on landing and ad copy is read from live Google RSAs, not from a Microsoft export. Keyword targeting is the query list you will buy in this Google account. A screenshot of campaigns is not access.

Outcome A Google account note: ID, access, and who may publish.

  2. Sample score inputs

We document Quality Score inputs as Google shows them on the money Search queries. Topical relevance of ad to landing is part of that read. Keyword density in a headline is not a metric we invent as a Quality Score. We do not chase a number by a date. Landing tests still hand to landing-page CRO.

Outcome A Quality Score input note on the queries that matter, including blanks.

  3. Name conversion actions

We list Google conversion actions, which are primary, and whether enhanced or offline import is in play. A thank-you with no owner is named. UET belongs on Microsoft Ads. We will not train Google on page views because the lead form is broken.

Outcome A conversion-action list you will stand behind inside Google Ads.

  4. Draw the type map

We write which campaign types may sit in this Google account this period: Search, PMax, Shopping, Display, Video, Demand Gen, or none. Semantic keywords you still buy live in Search campaigns, not as a stuffed conversion name. The map is not a PMax asset-group treatise and not a Merchant feed recipe.

Outcome A campaign-type map for this Google account, with out-of-scope types named.

Deliverables

What the Google Ads owner can keep after we leave

You leave with an account note, a Quality Score input sample, a conversion-action list, and a campaign-type map. You do not leave with a Microsoft twin, a PMax asset-group bible, or a score-by-date promise.

Google account note

Customer ID, manager access, MCC. Dated. Last year screenshot of campaigns is not this note.

Quality Score input sample

Expected CTR, ad relevance, landing experience as Google shows them on money queries. Not a promised grade.

Conversion-action list

Primary actions Google may train on, including enhanced or offline import if used. Page-view primaries are named as defects.

Campaign-type map

Which types may sit in this Google account this period. PMax and Shopping still have their own pages for depth.

Handoff lines

When Search format, PMax, Shopping, or Microsoft must take the next hour. This page does not swallow those jobs.

Benefits

What a Microsoft import cannot copy

Google stops training on a thank-you nobody defined

Primary conversion actions are named. Soft events stay labeled.

Quality Score inputs have a written sample

You can see expected CTR, relevance, and landing experience as Google scores them. Nobody pretends it is a Microsoft metric.

Campaign types stop sharing one unlabeled budget

The map says what may sit in this account. PMax depth stays on PMax.

History is kept when the account allows it

A reset for theatre is refused. Conversion history in Google Ads stays Google Ads history.

Methodology

Who can set a Google conversion action to primary

This works when someone can grant Google Ads manager access and someone can confirm the conversion Google may train on. If both are missing, we are touring reports. We are not holding the account.

We start with the Google Ads customer ID, live conversion actions, and Quality Score on money queries. If any of those is missing, we name it first.

We fetch live Google ads and landings. We do not trust a Microsoft export. Does search intent on the RSA match the landing? Are the queries you will buy still inside this Google account?

You may rename the roles below. You may not leave the primary conversion implied. An implied action is how Google trains on a thank-you load.

  1. Google Ads lead SEOConsultants.ai writes the account note, the Quality Score sample, the conversion-action list, and the campaign-type map. We do not become your Microsoft team because the Google account was messy.
  2. Whoever can grant Google manager access Adds the link and can remove leftover users. A locked Google Ads login is a finding.
  3. Whoever owns Google conversion actions Confirms primary versus secondary. They do not need to pin every RSA.
  4. Whoever owns the landing Can change the thank-you and the tag. Landing experiments still live on landing-page CRO.
  5. Leadership Accepts that Quality Score is not for sale by a date. An unread conversion list is not a failure of this page. A Microsoft clone-as-strategy would be.

First working session

Start with the Google conversion action that is still primary

The first hour is which Google conversion actions Google may train on, plus Quality Score on one money query. It is not a tour of Microsoft campaigns.

We open Google Ads. We list primary conversion actions. If a page view is primary, that is the job. If the real question is RSA pinning, that is Search ads. If the real question is asset groups, that is Performance Max. If the real question is Bing and UET, that is Microsoft Ads.

Then we pull Quality Score inputs on a money Search query and fetch the landing. We compare ad claim to first screen. The extra conversion actions and the unlabeled campaign types are usually the job. A Google Ads editor preview is not evidence of what Google scores.

We leave with a first conversion-action list or a stop. A list names primary actions, a Quality Score sample, and which campaign types may sit here. A stop names what is missing: manager access, a conversion you will stand behind, or a job that is actually Microsoft. Both are outcomes. A platform tutorial is not.

AI search

A Google conversion action is not an AI Overview

Honest landings and named conversions can help later extraction. This page cannot sell AI Overviews, a chat mention, or LLM visibility as a score.

A tidier Google Ads account will not land the brand in Google AI Overviews (AIO). If conversion actions and landings disagree, generative search has a messy offer to lift. That is ours to tidy as account hygiene. If the live pages already tell the truth and models still invent a Google-only offer, that is an AI search audit. A program across search UIs is AI SEO.

The landing has to print what the RSA claimed

AI search needs a page it can fetch. A Google Ads draft that never served does not help. We do not sell Overview presence.

Product names should match the thing you sell

We check names in the live landing next to Google ads. That is entity optimization as an account input. It is not a Knowledge Graph project from this page.

Measuring model answers is another URL

LLM visibility needs a sentence a model can quote, then measurement on LLM SEO. A conversion-action list can show what Google trains on. It does not sample answers.

Schema

Offer markup must match the Google ad claim.

JSON-LD helps a machine read an offer the landing already states. This work can flag a mismatch with Google RSAs. It is not a schema campaign as the whole job.

The name in markup must match the RSA

If schema says one SKU and the Google headline says another, extractors guess. We name the mismatch. We do not add five aliases as stuffing.

No fake FAQ to host more queries you will buy

Keyword targeting is the query list in the account. FAQ schema is not a second planner. A real question can live on the landing.

Extra types do not buy a citation

Markup will not force generative search to cite the landing. Eligibility is not a purchased mention.

Who we work with

The person who can grant Google Ads manager access

Someone has to set a conversion action to primary. We work with that person. We do not replace them with a Microsoft import.

Google Ads access owner

Grants manager access, keeps history, refuses a reset that exists only to look busy.

Conversion owner

Names the Google action you will stand behind. Holds the line when someone wants page views as primary.

Whoever already runs Search or PMax

Can keep going once the account map is named. If they try to run this as UET, two jobs collide. UET belongs on Microsoft Ads.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

What does this Google Ads page own?

This one Google Ads account: Quality Score inputs as Google shows them, which conversion actions are primary, and which campaign types may sit here this period. It is not a Search-format ops page.

How is this different from Search ads as a format?

Search ads own match, RSA, and search terms on Google or Microsoft. This page owns the Google account those Search campaigns sit inside. A match-type rule is not a Quality Score pass.

Is this the same as Performance Max?

No. This URL maps that PMax can exist in the Google account. Asset groups, audience signals, brand exclusions, and PMax reporting limits live on Performance Max. We will not reprint asset-group counts as this H1.

Do you reset the Google Ads account on takeover?

No. We request manager access. We keep conversion history when the account allows it. A wipe that exists only to look busy is refused. History in Google Ads is not a Microsoft import job.

Where does Microsoft Advertising live?

On the Microsoft Ads page, including UET and import-then-adapt. Quality Score is a Google object. UET is not. This page will not twin Bing as a second Google Ads account.

Will a cleaner Google Ads account get us into AI Overviews?

No. Honest conversion actions and landings can help later extraction. This work does not buy a place in Google AI Overviews (AIO), a generative-search mention, or an LLM visibility score. If models invent a Google conversion you do not fire, that measurement sits on an AI search audit and on LLM SEO.

What do you need to open the account?

The Google Ads customer ID, who can grant manager access, and which conversion actions are currently primary. A campaign screenshot is not access.

This Google Ads account, not Bing

Which conversion actions in the Google Ads account are still primary?

Share the Google Ads customer ID, which conversion actions are marked primary, and who can grant manager access. We will say if this account pass fits, or whether Search format, Performance Max, or an audit should go first.

  1. Customer ID confirmed
  2. Quality Score inputs sampled
  3. Primary conversion actions named
  4. Campaign types mapped

ID, score inputs, conversions, type map. Not a Microsoft twin.
