SEO Location Pages: Markets, Countries, and How to Choose

This hub is geographic information architecture for this website. A country URL is market-specific SEO context. A city URL is a metro door — often still a directory card. Local SEO consulting is how we deliver pack work and client location pages. Google Business Profile is the listing object. If you want a method, open SEO services. If you want a market, open USA, UK, or Singapore first.

  1. 01 What this IA is

Location URLs on this site, not offices we invented.

  2. 02 Hub vs country vs city

Navigation, market operating reality, metro card.

  3. 03 Not a service URL

Local SEO, GBP, SEO hub, and industries stay elsewhere.

  4. 04 Core markets

USA, UK, Singapore as the commercial-core countries.

  5. 05 Next step

Choose a door. Do not turn this hub into a fourth country essay.

Journey map only. No rankings, traffic, or results claims.

Split

This hub versus country pages, local SEO, and GBP

SEO consulting for the US market, the UK market, and the Singapore market own operating reality. Local SEO owns the client’s location URLs and the pack. Google Business Profile owns listings. This page only explains **which kind of URL you are on**.

Job

Counterpart: US states/metros · UK nations/.co.uk · SG city-state/EN-ZH.

This page: Map the location system and send you to the right door.

Object

Counterpart: A market essay · client HTML · a Maps listing.

This page: This website’s geographic IA — hub, country, city.

Definition

What a location URL is for on this website

A location URL here is not “SEO in {place}” as a swapped H1 on the SEO hub. It is either **navigation** (this page), **market context** (a country), or a **metro door** (a city card).

We do not staff an office because a card exists. The directory is not a headcount. Schema on country pages names an area served for consulting, not a PostalAddress.

If you need delivery — how to build location HTML, how to sequence pack work — that is already written on local SEO consulting. Repeating it here would cannibalize a locked page.

If you need the listing channel, use Google Business Profile services. If you need methods without geography, use SEO consulting.

Three objects

Hub versus country versus city

The **hub** (this URL) answers: which type of page do I need, and which market is in the commercial core.

A **country** page answers: how search is organized in that market (states, nations, or a city-state). USA, UK, and Singapore are written as unique spines. Other countries in the grid below remain index cards until a later architecture.

A **city** page is a metro door. Most are still thin directory cards. Dubai and Sydney have high inbound and are **Wave 2** — not this batch, not this hub’s essays.

The mid diagram is those three columns plus the two service counterparts (local SEO, GBP) so nobody uses this H1 as a pack tutorial.

Exclusions

When you should not use a location page

You sell one SaaS product to a global English web with no geo intent: start at SEO services or SaaS SEO, not a country essay.

You need hreflang and host splits: international SEO is the implementation door. UK and Singapore *mention* the choice; they do not own the treatise.

You need a vertical buyer journey: open an industry URL. Location pages may link industries; they must not reprint them.

You need a conversation rather than a market map: contact. You need a snapshot: free SEO + AI visibility audit.

Core markets

USA, UK, and Singapore are the commercial core

Those three country URLs had the strongest unfinished inbound among location pages when this cluster was chosen. They are implemented as unique market essays, not noun swaps.

USA owns states, metros, .com, and Bing as a US-weighted consideration. UK owns four nations, .co.uk identity, and UK↔EU as a handoff. Singapore owns city-state geography and English/Chinese research.

Canada, Australia, UAE, and the rest stay visible as **names in the index**. Their generator intros are not reprinted on this hub. We will not pretend each card is already a 2,000-word unique program.

Swap-test: a hub paragraph must fail if you replace “hub” with “United States.” This page does not contain a state grid.

City index

The city grid is navigation, not a promise

Cards below list metros we have URLs for. A card is not a unique longform commitment. Wave 2, if approved later, starts with Dubai and Sydney — still not from this document’s implementation of the hub.

Do not ask a city card to explain GBP fields or local-pack sequencing. Those jobs are already locked on other URLs.

Internal links from country pages to a few city slugs are doors. They must not become city essays hidden on the country URL.

Honesty

What we will not write on location pages

No offices, local teams, clients, rankings, market share, certifications, or performance results.

No unsourced Google or mobile percentages, and no “results in four to six months” windows.

No fake addresses in schema. Trustpilot, where mentioned on the UK page, is buyer research — not a fabricated ranking signal.

No expansion to 137 unique city essays because the grid looks complete.

The country index below is alphabetical navigation. It is not a uniqueness program. Canada’s bilingual problem, Australia’s spelling, and UAE Arabic/English splits are *those* cards’ future jobs — not paragraphs we will paste into this hub to look thorough.

Solutions URLs that already combine an industry and a city (for example a combo landing) are not this IA. They remain collision-prone landings and are not upgraded from the hub.

Nav that says “Locations” should keep pointing here. Moving that item to local SEO would collapse the object split we just locked.

If a writer wants one body that introduces “our global footprint,” that sentence is banned. Footprint implies offices. This hub implies URLs.

Breadcrumb is Home → Locations. Country pages add the market name. City pages, when thin, still sit under this hub so the IA stays readable to humans and crawlers.

Sequence

How an engagement is sequenced

Decide the object

IA (stay), market (country), metro card (city), or a service URL.

If market, pick USA, UK, or Singapore first

Other countries remain index cards.

Hand off delivery

Local SEO, GBP, SEO, international SEO, industry — not this hub.

Audit or contact

Snapshot if you want findings. Conversation if you want a meeting.

Not this URL

Related jobs that live elsewhere

Not local SEO

Client location URLs and pack delivery stay locked on /seo/local-seo/.

Not GBP

Listings stay on /google-business-profile/.

Not a country essay

USA, UK, and Singapore own market spines.

Not Wave 2

Dubai and Sydney stay out of this batch.

City index

Cities and metro doors

Directory navigation. Dubai and Sydney stay Wave 2 — not unique essays in this batch. Most cards remain thin until a later architecture.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Is /locations/ the same as local SEO consulting?

No. This hub is geographic information architecture for this website. Local SEO consulting is how we deliver pack work and the client’s location-URL policy. Different objects, different H1s.

Should I open a country page or a city page?

Country = market rules (how search is organized in the US, UK, or Singapore). City = metro door, usually still a directory card. If you only know the country, start with those three commercial-core URLs.

Do you have offices in each listed country?

No. A directory card is not a staff map. We do not claim offices, local teams, or street addresses from location URLs.

Why are USA, UK, and Singapore highlighted?

They were the highest-inbound unfinished country URLs when the location commercial core was designed. Other countries remain in the index until a later architecture. That is priority, not a coverage boast.

Why isn’t Dubai or Sydney in this core?

They are cities with high inbound, reserved as Wave 2 after these four pages freeze. They are not in this hub’s market essays.

Can a SaaS company skip location pages?

Yes if there is no geographic intent. Use SEO services, SaaS SEO, or the SaaS industry journey. Open a country page when US, UK, or Singapore searchers or sites are actually in scope.

Do you rewrite every city in the grid?

No. The grid is navigation. Unique city essays are not implied by a card. Most city URLs stay thin until a later, approved wave.

Where do I request work after I pick a market?

Open the country page, then the free SEO + AI visibility audit or contact. Do not send the same brief to this hub twice.

Locations

Not sure which market URL you need? Request an audit

This hub is how market URLs are organized. Send the site if you need USA, UK, Singapore, or another published market named. We will not invent a city pack ranking from this page.

  1. Published market URLs only
  2. No new location slug from this band
  3. Service URLs for delivery
  4. A stop if you needed local SEO instead
